Kelangan mu pa mag save memory card para lng ma continue ung nilalaro mu, hindi na uso ung password haha. But you know what? one of the most RPG-Adventure game na nagustuhan q talaga ung Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
1st kasi kakaiba xa sa lahat, ibang klase yung background music, yung mga fighting techniques, magic spells etc. astig tlaga.. ung bida he can transform into mist, werewolf and bat aun.. eto ung mga character sa Castlevania Symphony of the Night:
ALUCARD - Alucard (or "Dracula" spelled backwards) is the long lost son of the Count. He is half human, half vampire, as his mother was a mortal. Although he served his father, he was soon convinced that spreading his father’s evil was wrong, and joined Trevor Belmont in his fight. In Castlevania 3, he uses a Ball of Destruction as his main weapon, but he can’t use any other special weapons. Alucard can take as many hits as Trevor. Since Alucard is a vampire, his main power is the ability to turn into a bat and fly around until the hearts run out (turning into a bat consumes heart at the rate of roughly 2 per second) or when he gets hit by an enemy.Alucard is also known as Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes. After helping Trevor destroy his father, Alucard put himself to sleep in order to put his cursed bloodlines. However, he is awakened once again to discover why Richter Belmont has disappeared in Symphony of the Night. In Symphony, Alucard’s primary weapons are a selection of swords and shields, as well as a number of magic spells.
RICHTER BELMONT - Richter is most likely the grandson of Solieyu Belmont, captured in Belmont’s Revenge. Hero of both Dracula X’s (and also an enemy in Symphony of the Night), Richter had to fight his way through yet another wave of Dracula’s baddies to save his girlfriend Annette, and her sister, Maria. In Symphony of the Night, Richter mysteriously dissappears, and nobody is quite sure why. He may have been kidnapped by minions of Dracula, to work for him. Richter has a very cool backflip ability which gets him out of sticky situations.
Richter wears a stylish headband and a cool blue uniform. In ‘Symphony of the Night’, he wears his hair quite a bit longer and looks more like an 18th century warrior than before. He also gains a few new abilities, most noticeable a dash, a slide attack, a super jump and an uppercut. He makes a guest appearance in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.
MARIA RENARD - Kidnapped by Dracula at 12 years old in an attempt to lure Richter into his hands, Maria Renard can be freed and used as another character to play as. Despite her small stature, she swears she’s a powerful vampire hunter. Her main attack is to throw doves, which return after flying a short distance. She also attacks with birds, turtles, a dragon, and even her shrill singing voice. Maria also has a double-jump power, can slide, and has a powerful move that projects her alter-ego. Unfortunately, she cannot take as many hits as Richter. In spite of these set-backs, she’s basically the "easy" mode to the PC Engine Dracula X. It’s sort of shameful in a way, that if you’re too wussy to beat the game as Richter, you can demean yourself by playing as a little girl in a pink frilly dress.
In Symphony of the Night, Maria is now a teenager, and sets out to find the missing Richter Belmont. No longer the cute little girl she was before, Maria is a brave young woman. When she begins her search, Castlevania mysteriously appears, as if to lead her on the search. When first meeting Alucard, she seems unsure whether to trust him, but soon learns that he is a noble being. She posses magical skills, able to charge up and shoot out magical bolts, as well as summoning more grown-up versions of her animal compatriots. She can also triple jump. Much like Richter, she appears (in child form) as a guest star in Portrait of Ruin.
There are two different stories behind Maria - the original Japanese Dracula X manual says she’s a distant relative of the Belmont family, while the American Symphony of the Night manual says she’s not related by blood. In the former case, since Richter married Maria’s older sister Annette, that means he basically hooked up within the family.
DRACULA - Count Vlad Tepes Dracula is in practically every game in the Castlevania series, in one form or another. Historically, he was a crazy Romanian ruler who relished in impaling his foes on stakes outside his castle, a madness which Bram Stoker used to create the character in his novel. This has been weaved into the Castlevania plotline, although Dracula apparently used to be an old king named Matthias Cronqvist, who made a deal with the devil. During this time, he began a blood feud that would last for centuries - in angering Leon Belmont, his clan swore vengeance on the demonic vampire, hunting him from generation to generation, each passing on the legendary Vampire Killer whip.
In most forms, Dracula appears as a rather tall man, shooting fireballs and other projectiles from his cape. More often than not, he also has a second (and occasionally third) demonic form that is quite a bit scarier, and usually more difficult to kill.
LISA - Lisa is the only woman in the world in which the Count Dracula has ever loved, and is the mother of Alucard. Being pure human, she stirred up such emotion inside Count Dracula that no one else had ever done. A medical doctor, she was treating some victims when an angry mob lynched her, supposedly for practicing witchcraft. Count Dracula blamed the ignorance of humans for his beloved’s death, and thus set himself on destroying them. Yet he never knew her last words: "Do not hate humans. If you cannot live with them, do not them no harm, for theirs is already a hard lot."
THE MASTER LIBRARIAN - The Long Library needs a keeper, and that is the job of the Master Librarian in Symphony of the Night (also known as the Shopkeeper.) Most likely an immortal (as he disappears and reappears with the castle), he is faithful to Dracula…unless he can bought over by Alucard.
GRIM REAPER - The Grim Reaper (also known as plain old "Death") is Count Dracula’s right hand man, and has also appeared in practically every Castlevania game ever made. Although he rarely speaks, Death will glady take his scythes and murder any opponents that comes near. His most common attacks are summoning miniature scythes from random parts of the screen and hurling them in every possible direction, which makes him hard to hit. He occasionally has a secondary form as well.
SHAFT - The Dark Priest Shaft is the leader of a cult of madmen that resurrect and follow their lord Dracula. When first fought in Dracula X, he will summon four monsters from Castlevania 1: the Phantom Bat, Queen Medusa, a Mummy, and Frankenstein’s monster. Then he will attack Richter himself. Jumping from one side of the screen to the other, he commands two orbs that can do a variety of attacks, including shooting lightning or firing flames. Shaft truly refuses to die, as the next level has either Richter or Maria facing his ghost. Hovering around, the Ghost Shaft will summon bats to attack from the background, in addition to summon monstrous behemoths from the ground, and hellish winged apparitions who breath fire and swoop down on targets.
SUCCUBUS - The Succubus is a mystical demon that descends upon and has sexual intercourse with a man in his dream state. During this, the Succubus would steal his soul. In Symphony, the Succubus tries to impersonate Alucard’s mother, Lisa, in order for him to do his father’s bidding. When her true form is revealed, she can extend the wing fingers to skewer Alucard and create many false duplicates of herself in the sky. The one which doesn’t shoot orbs would be the real Succubus.
In Lament of Innocence, she is even more insidious. After impersonating Leon’s love Sara, the demon attempts to stab him in the back before he realizes the tricks being played on him. Similar to the Symphony Succubus, she will create duplicates of herself, and shoots a multi-directional beam that’s rather hard to dodge. She also attacks with monster vines that spread all over the room.
FERRYMAN - Although the Ferryman is most likely modeled after Charon, the boatman over the River Styx (the waterway to Hell) he still seems to be a human. Although unsure whether his life is eternal or whether he is a mortal, the Ferryman will ultimately prove to aid adventurers, if they show the correct items. In Castlevania 2, the Ferryman will transport you across rivers, and sometimes can only be persuaded to go certain places if you have proof of your powers (like finding Dracula’s heart.) In Dracula X Duo, he will appear hidden a few times to transport you, and will take you through underwater caves in Symphony of the Night (but will only open an underwater door if you have the Mermaid Statue.) He mutters cryptic phrases like "Sure! I’ll take you to a good place!" and "I’ll take you to meet your destiny!"
Ayan ahehe I’ve played it a lot of times pero hindi nakakasawa laruin aun. Astig talaga yung gameplay pati yung mga dialogue ng bawat character.. cge un lng share q lng senyo. -fin-
